Volunteer

Be a part of the Downtown Berkley revitalization effort!

The DDA Board of Directors is looking for a few good men and women who are interested in working to build a more viable Downtown Berkley. We are looking for energetic, progressive and dedicated individuals to serve on the DDA Board, one of its future committees, or take part in future volunteer projects and activities.

What are we striving to build?

The City of Berkley DDA is determined to build a broad based community driven downtown revitalization organization in the tradition of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Main Street Four-Point Approach. In fact, Berkley is one of two Main Street Oakland County (MSOC) mentoring communities working to achieve MSOC status such as Ferndale, Farmington, Rochester and others. Successfully being accepted into this county wide program will provide valuable technical assistance and training designed to help the City of Berkley DDA obtain the vision of a more attractive, vibrant, and healthy downtown.

We are looking for individuals with various skills, knowledge, and abilities who are interested in investing their talents in the Downtown Berkley revitalization effort. We want to empower the community to have a positive impact on the City of Berkley and its downtown.
